Yes, it does. We run a long cable out a window from your house, garage or shed, The cable is outdoor rated with double RCA breakers to keep you safe. Electricity usage is approx: 2.0kw/hr when heating or 0.8kw/hr when filtering (once it reaches desired temperature). The total cost of power is only $15-25 for the weekend.

The standard 4-6 person hot tub holds about 780 litres, we fill this from your garden hose. The cost of water is approximately $3 using Watercare's standard water and wastewater rates.

Yes, it does! Your safety is one of our top priorities. Foxy Hot Tubs follow the Auckland Council requirements and we have engaged with the Building Performance team to check our hot tubs are safe.​ ​We need your help, while we're not around, by supervising children at all times and by putting on the lid and securing the easy to use (childproof) clasps when not in use.

The temperature increases 1-2 degrees an hour, so where possible we try to drop it off early on the day of booking so it's up to temperature in time for your big night. If you're ok with it we can also run a hose from your hot tap which will dramatically increase the starting temperature and the amount of time it takes to reach the desired temperature.

It heats to a toasty and safe 40°C (104°F). You can set the temperature at whatever suits you.. perfect if you have a special temperature in mind, for pregnancy, sports recovery or therapy.
